This is what I did this morning. By 10:30 tonight we shall know how it turned out. (Eeek!)

One of those innocent child moments from yesterday:
Eli (still in bed that morning) - "Mommy, my tummy singing."
Mommy - "What?"
E - "My tummy singing."
M - "Is your tummy growling?"
E - "Uh huh."
Eli stands up to get out of his crib and promptly toots.
E - "My bottom singing."

This is what life looked like 3 years ago today. The day 3 became 4. The day our sweet little boy was born. Happy Birthday Eli! We are so blessed to have you in this family.

Once upon a time, the little ones were invited to the most amazing storybook birthday party. The likes of which we had never seen before. They dressed in costume, pretending to be one of their favorite storybook characters. So Sleeping Beauty and Llama Llama Red Pajama went to the party and were struck with awe. They were greeted by The Cat in the Hat who gave them a Dr. Seuss book. They colored pictures, made bracelets, ate pizza and cupcakes. And they even got a brand new book to take home after a book exchange. (So, maybe they each picked the books we brought....) A fun time was had by all. Happy Birthday C and J!

It's almost here. My baby is going to turn 3 in a few days.....(sigh, tear).

Charis started working on her Christmas list yesterday. It almost seems a little late since this is the girl who LOVES to make lists, almost as much as she LOVES Christmas. Her list includes many of the normal things that almost 5 year olds like: Disney Princesses, Barbies, My Little Ponies. Then there in the middle is a huge, sparkly, expensive diamond ring. Huh?
